Business Development Officer

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Officer to join our team. As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities for our company. You will need to have excellent communication skills, a high level of English fluency, and the ability to work across different time zones to effectively communicate with potential clients. Additionally, you must be able to delegate work, prepare proposals, attend calls and respond to emails, maintain a CRM, and use your best voice modulation to build rapport with potential clients.

Responsibilities

  • Willing to familiarise yourself with the company’s vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives.
  • Research & understand the market through various mediums for the implementation of growth strategies.
  • Contact prospective international clients & local clients through calls, messages, emails, social media, Skype, etc.
  • Accurate management of all leads and associated data via the CRM tool – Zoho CRM and updates all activity within Zoho
  • Consistently exceed sales targets and achievement of KPIs such as daily lead gen targets, conversion rates, and any outbound defined service levels
  • Develop, learn and communicate specific sales propositions to end-user customers Keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry, as well as the competitive posture of the company
  • Support the events team with delegates recruitment, registrants confirmation, etc… when required
  • Develop and qualify new software development lead generation activities to increase revenue opportunities in specific target vertical sectors or market segments.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Experience in software industry.
  • Managing the sales bid process by responding to RFI’s & RFP’s.
  • General understanding in using lead generation platforms.
  • Experience in using prominent b2b bidding platforms like Upwork, Fiverr etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Figure out the solution for new and existing customers to address their IT software requirements and business needs
  • Working closely with Sales to ensure the successful closure of the sales process
  • Fair understanding of the IT industry, typical services, client expectations, and how deals are structured.
  • Track & build relationships with prospects and help improve lead-to-opportunity conversion rates
  • Assist the sales team in penetrating strategic accounts by identifying the business, decision-makers, budget, and time frame, and scheduling sales appointments with qualified prospects.
